Bio
Erica brings over two decades of experience leading teams, designing and implementing large-scale professional development programs, and supporting clients as they step into roles of increasing responsibility and impact. As the Board Chair of the Sasamani Foundation, Erica supports staff in East Africa to build education, employment, and empowerment programs to stop the cycle of poverty. Erica also worked her way up the ranks as a Coast Guard officer, retiring as a Commander responsible for service-wide leadership development curricula. Determined to create a culture of inclusion, Erica co-founded the Women’s Leadership Initiative, a national nonprofit centered on increasing the retention of women in the Coast Guard through policy change, mentoring, and professional development. Erica is currently serving clients around the world as a pLink Leadership Senior Executive Coach.
