Bio
As a first-generation Iranian-American woman, I hold a deep passion for equity, inclusion, and women's rights. My journey has led me to work closely with young minds, teaching health education in Title 1 Schools, and working in university recruiting and mentorship. My most recent role involved developing and delivering dynamic diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs in the technology sector at companies like Zoom and Gusto. Joining MAPP and being a part of this Summit is a dream come true for me! Martin Seligman's book on learned optimism had a profound impact on me during a crucial time, and my ultimate goal is to share the knowledge I gain from MAPP within my DEI curriculum and to make a tangible difference in my community.
