Personal information

Lisa Jacobson helps individuals make career decisions, prepares business people for critical interviews and coaches leaders in organizations to grow and change for the better. In 1998, after 15 years in Human Resources at Fortune 500 companies, Lisa founded WorkplaceSolutionsTampa.com, a human resources consulting firm. Since earning her MAPP degree, Lisa's consulting practice has pivoted towards career consulting and leadership coaching. She serves a local and national client base of early career professionals, "Baby Boomers" and second career changers seeking career exploration and advice.

Lisa's career consulting approach has four steps:

1) Discovery: Identifying values, interests, personality and strengths and skills.

2) Exploration: What is possible? Investigating viable career options. Identifying ideal opportunities.

3) Design: Finding your professional voice and defining your personal and professional brands.

4) Do: Creating a job, career or calling strategy that includes interview strategies, networking, relationship building, information interviews, resume design, and LinkedIn profile design and posting.

My Career Discovery program combines evidence-based findings, career strategies and practical job seeking advice. The mix of my HR experience, professional certifications, and knowledge of the workplace differentiate me.
