I help individuals make career decisions throughout the many phases of their professional lives. I also help people prepare for critical interviews, and I coach leaders to grow and change for the better. In 1998, after 15 years in human resources at Fortune 500 companies, I started WorkplaceSolutionsTampa.com, a human resources consulting firm. Since earning my MAPP degree in 2008, my consulting practice has pivoted towards career consulting and leadership coaching. I serve a local and national client base of early career professionals, Gen Xers, Baby Boomers, and second career changers in need of support and advice as they embark on a new path.
My career comprehensive approach includes:
1) Discovery: Identifying values, interests, personality, purpose, strengths and skills.
2) Exploration: Conducting a meta career possibility search. Investigating viable career options. Identifying ideal opportunities and selecting a way forward.
3) Design: Creating résumé and defining a professional brand on LinkedIn.
4) Creating a brand strategy that includes interview strategies, networking, relationship building, and information interviews.
My program combines evidence-based findings, career strategies, and practical job seeking advice. The mix of my HR experience, professional certifications, and knowledge of the workplace differentiate me.
