Capstone title and abstract
Confident Parenting This isn't really an abstract, but I wrote a book proposal for a book titled "Confident Parenting" that will provide support to new and expecting parents. I am drawing a great deal on work that has built on Bandura's self-efficacy theory - did you know there is a whole bunch of research on Parental Self-Efficacy? (PSE) It has been linked to numerous positive parenting outcomes, which in turn lead to positive developmental, social and academic outcomes for infants, toddlers, school-aged children and adolescents. I'm happy to share more information with anyone who wants it and was posted to the Scholarly Commons.
