Bio
Julie works with a portfolio of companies in the capacity of founder, partner, investor and advisor. She founded Rescue a Million, an international development organization dedicated to helping the families of children in poverty to become more self-sustaining – economically and environmentally. Julie has worked with non-governmental organizations on an international level, at the United Nations as well as in the field. She has a background in the financial services industry and consulting and has traveled extensively in her work with businesses, nonprofits, foundations and government organizations throughout the world. She serves on the Advisory Board of the University of Cambridge’s Wellbeing Institute and has developed a scale to measure multidimensional wellbeing as part of her ongoing research. She is actively developing a slate of film and television properties.
