Bio
Jer is currently a Doctoral Candidate in psychology at the University of Pennsylvania under Dr. Martin Seligman, often regarded as the founder of Positive Psychology. After returning to Academia in 2014 after an initial career in non-profit strategy, he spent four years creating a foundational empirically derived typology of primal world beliefs, also called primals, as well as a Primals Inventory to measure them. His new research examines how primals relate to many variables that primals strongly predict and theoretically influence, including wellbeing, personality traits and character strengths, success, depression, and voting behavior.
