What if effective fundraising was as simple as placing healthy, authentic, and transparent conversations about sharing wealth at the cornerstone of your practice? Mission driven organizations, ones based on deep values of transparency, equity and social justice, often forget to put those human-centered values at the center of their fundraising practice as well. Raising money feels different, specialized, even “icky” and can cause you to treat donors as a check-book instead of a partner who will be with you and your organization for the long haul.

In this session we will break down the relationship-driven approach to fundraising into seven “truisms” that can get you off the fence and onto the business of putting your values where your fundraising is.  Simple, effective, transparent, compassionate -- relationship-focused fundraising has proven time and time again to be the cost effective way to raise money, and everyone in your organization should be a part of it.
