Join panelists Ming Fu, Derrick Carpenter, and Courtney Bigony to hear about their experience with artificial intelligence and the ways it intersects positive psychology and their work!

Ming founded Uvita, a creative platform and A.I. copilot that provides all the necessary software and templates for behavioral practitioners to create mobile-based companions for their workshops, books, podcasts, and communities without any need for coding skills. Previously, her team launched a self-care voice app and attracted 150,000 users. Prior to her time at MAPP, Ming worked in people management at a Beijing-based company with a million employees. A crucial conversation during an Uber ride in West Philly while at MAPP inspired her to develop positive technology that makes mental well-being resources available to everyone worldwide.

Derrick is the VP of Product, Artificial Intelligence for Twill, a digital platform with care communities and self-guided programs to enhance mental health and well-being. Previously, he's both consulted with and led mental health startups ranging from data-driven therapy platforms to self-actualization communities, served as an instructor for the Penn Resilience Program and the Quiet Leadership Institute, and designed urban-adventure-race-based courses on high-performance teamwork for top business schools. Derrick completed MAPP in 2007 and holds a B.S. in Mathematics from MIT.

Courtney Bigony is on a mission to unlock human potential at scale. She’s worked at venture-backed startups (15Five, FiveStars) for almost a decade and holds a Masters of Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania where she studied with Martin Seligman, the father of positive psychology. She’s the inventor of Positive Product Design™, a science-backed method for building human potential technology and was named the next female disruptor. She has contributed pieces featured in Forbes and Huffington Post.
