"Our world is calling for new ways of thinking about and practicing leadership – processes that are generative, engaging, inclusive, nimble, authentic, mindful, and result in human flourishing. The Leading to Well-Being Conference, initiated in 2010 and co-sponsored by the Center for Consciousness and Transformation (CCT) and MasonLeads at George Mason University, includes notable scholars and industry leaders addressing innovations in leadership and well-being. The concept of Leading to Well-Being starts with the individual and then engages others in the exploration of meaning, purpose, positive relationships, and mindfulness. The 2013 conference format facilitates the engagement and expertise of all participants and presenters. This year’s program theme, Facilitating Leadership for A Well-Lived Life, features keynote speakers Daniel Goleman, author of Emotional Intelligence and The Brain and Emotional Intelligence, and Annie McKee, co-author of Primal Leadership and Resonant Leadership."
